[文摘]:A filtering strategy for improving computational aeroacoustics (CAA) computations is demonstrated using benchmark cases for one- and two-dimensional linearized and full Euler equations. The results confirm that compact finite difference schemes satisfy the stringent requirements of CAA accuracy and dispersion and diffusion errors. Since filtering suppresses the unwanted q waves, it can be used as an alternative to grid refinment. It is also shown to enhance the stability of the numerical method and boundary conditions. (AIAA)
